A Japanese artist who has been living in Reunion Island for several years, Masami tends to blend into nature.
Masami deploys flexible, spatial and organic sculptures inside and outside the exhibition space. With her fingers, she knits plant fibers, copper or textile threads, drawing inspiration from the movements of living things (wind, water, sky, forest). Guided by light, she listens to the vibrations and frequencies of her ecosystem.
