Furniture Design Studio Founded in Réunion Island in 2016 by Caroline Grondin and Guillaume Avarguez, APPRT2 is a high-end furniture design studio rooted in French craftsmanship. Each piece is designed as a functional sculpture: a work to be experienced every day.
The studio's uniqueness lies in a strong visual signature, combining precise design and soft curves. Their shared vision gives rise to designer furniture that is sculptural, elegant, and resolutely contemporary. Their work has been recognized nationally and internationally: inclusion in the Mobilier National collection in 2021, collaboration with Hermès and Métaphores Paris in 2023, and distinction at the FD100 in 2024, an award recognizing French projects with international renown.
Inspired by the natural forces of Réunion Island—ocean, winds, volcano—their creations express this philosophy through print and volume. Their pieces are now represented in numerous international galleries (New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Lyon, Miami, Brussels, Singapore). Through each exhibition, APPRT2 takes a fragment of Reunion Island to the four corners of the world, asserting a dual identity: local and universal.
